Ruth M Shifman, DDS
Dr. Shifman was raised in Ventura County and graduated from Thousand Oaks High School. She graduated UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. In 2002, Dr. Shifman earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific, San Francisco. Upon graduation she worked as an associate in Camarillo, and was on staff at Long Beach Memorial Hospital - Children's Dental Health Clinic.
Dr. Shifman is committed to comfortable, pain free, and relaxed dentistry. That is why she has become certified in pediatric and adult oral sedation. She believes negative dental experiences should be a thing of the past. A top priority for her is equipping the office with the latest technology so that each patient can receive the best of dental care available.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Santa Barbara / Ventura County Dental Society. Dr. Shifman is the Ventura area Director pro-tem for the Santa Barbara / Ventura County Dental Society
Dr. Shifman currently lives in Ventura County with her husband, 2 small children, and dog.
